Big Border
By Cadet 2003

1. Make your background image, for this tutorial i shall use this image

2. Create a new layer and make sure it is the top layer as shown

3. Use the paint bucket tool to fill the layer white

4. Use the "rectangular marquee tool" and cut a rectangle out ( leaving about 1cm of border )

5.Select the "Polygonal lasso tool"

6. Then start cutting the way you want the border to be, Make sure you hold shift when moving from point to point, to make sure you get straight lines.

7. Press delete to cut away the excess border and press "ctrl" and "d" to deselect

8. Right click your border layer and go to blending oprions. ( or go to Layer --> Layer style --> Blending options

9. use the following settings

DROP SHADOW - default settings

INNER GLOW - set colour to white

BEVELAND EMBOSS - set size to 1

CONTOUR - default settings

GRADIENT OVERLAY - select the shown gradient from the gradient list

STROKE - set size to 1 and set colour to black

Now you can stop there and should have something along the lines of this.

or you can go on to add a little more detail by cutting more sections out of your border.

As you can see maybe i should have stopped whilst i was ahead :P , but it was just to give you the general idea.

n HTML, you create tables using the table tag, in conjunction with the tr and td tags. Although there are other tags for creating tables, these are the basics for creating a table in HTML.
Type this HTML code...

<table border="1">
<tr>
<td>Table cell 1</td><td>Table cell 2</td>
</tr>
</table>

It should result in something like this in your browser...

You'll notice that we added a border attribute to the table tag. This particular attribute allows us to specify how thick the border will be. If we don't want a border we can specify 0 (zero). Other common attributes you can use with your table tag include width, cellspacing and cellpadding.

You can also add attributes to the tr and td tags. For example, you can specify the width of each table cell.

Widths can be specified in either pixels or percentages. Specifying the width in pixels allows you to specify an exact width. Percentages allows the table to "grow" or "shrink" depending on what else is on the page and how wide the browser is.

If you want to get #1 on Google listen to Matt Cutts.

Don't waste your $$$ on the wrong kind of backlinks - They won't work.

Since the Google "Panda" update a lot has changed.

Google has moved the playing field and simple text links are almost
counter productive, Pyramid linkbuilding is no longer worth the effort
but Contextual Links will get you an almost immediate SERPS
improvement.

Tens of thousands of both can be done in 24hrs using Scrapebox, and
because of that Google is now giving simple text links less weight in
SERPS.

If you watch the latest video by Matt Cutts, Google's own guru, you
will learn that contextual backlinks now have the most value.

Contextual backlinks are links placed inside an article or blog post
that are in the context of their surrounding text, so they look
natural.

For example an article on firefighting might have links to a
firestation URL. These are quite time consuming to create and
invariably need an image to get maximum Google juice.

For anyone planning to create backlinks I recommend you to take 3
minutes to watch the Matt Cutts video on
SEO

If you recognise the change he speaks about. then afterwards use their
FREE software to create some contextual articles embedded with your
own URL.
Hello,

Usually, you put more stitches into your corners to make the turn and "square" that corner - that is unless you WANT a rounded corner, of course. It is usually 3 or 5 stitches, but pay attention to your pattern. An odd number is important especially if you intend to join that square to others. I have learned a few methods that seem to do a better job of getting those corners square. They are listed below and also on my pattern faq page.

Thanks,
